English + Work
The English Studio English + Work program in partnership with London Agency Services is designed for student who want to spend time in the United Kingdom to improve their language skills and widen their cultural horizons participating in paid and unpaid work placements.
Apart from the English lessons this course provides a job leading service supplied by our partner London Agency Service, which will offer:
- Help preparing your CV for job applications,
- Preparation for Job Interviews,
- Organization of up to 8 Job interviews with employers.
We have successfully placed a lot of people in jobs thanks to this service. Examples of jobs and types of salaries are as follows:
CHAMBERMAID £162-£175 - this position requires a basic level of English.
RECEPTIONIST - £200-£235 - This position requires experience, good presentation, high level of English and other languages are preferred.
WAITER/WAITRESS - £165-£200 - Medium/high level of English and some experience. This is the most popular job in terms of demand and availability (don't forget the possibility of good tips!).
SALES ASSISTANT - £170-£235 - High level of English, good presentation and experience. More demand in the months before the sales and Christmas
FAST FOOD SALES ATTENDANT - £170-£190 - Medium Level of English, this job requires flexible hours.
WASHING-UP/KITCHEN PORTER- £135-£175 - Low level of English, hard work and long hours.
