Cambridge Exam Preparation - Afternoon
Our 12-week Cambridge Exam Preparation Courses are an intensive preparation for all elements of these Cambridge ESOL examinations.
Whether you want to sit the Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE), the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) our classes will give you the support and practice that you need.
The English Studio is accredited by the British Council to prepare students for the Cambridge ESOL examinations.
How will I prepare for my English exam?
Our Cambridge Exam Preparation Courses include intensive practice in the examination techniques that you will have to master to pass the exam. Your teacher will give you detailed feedback throughout the course on how you can improve in each technique.
You will have sessions that focus on your listening, your speaking, your reading, your writing and your ‘use of English’ to prepare you for the five sections of the examinations.
As with all our English classes, your teacher will present the course in an imaginative and inspiring way, using modern and practical themes and a variety of teaching methods.
Note
- Depending on the number of students, the class may include students from a General English class.
- You MUST buy the correct book for your chosen English course. You can buy the book for your course when you arrive in London, either from the library in our Holborn Centre or from our Shepherd's Bush reception.

Monday to Friday: 02.45 to 06:00pm - each class includes a 15 minute break
Class size
We will never have more than 22 students in a class. However, most of our English classes have an average that is well below this number.
