IELTS Plus
This is the course for you if you want a more intensive preparation for your IELTS exam with an extra hour each day dedicated to writing practice.
If you’re preparing for either the Cambridge General IELTS exam or the Cambridge Academic IELTS exam we can help you make the most of your preparation time.
How will the course prepare me for my IELTS exam?
Our Cambridge IELTS Preparation courses include intensive practice in the examination techniques that you will have to master to get the score you need. Your teacher will give you detailed feedback throughout the course on how you can improve in each technique.
You will have sessions that focus on your listening, your speaking, your reading and your writing skills to give you plenty of practice for the four parts of the examination.
Your preparation will also include essay writing, fluent and accurate speaking, and describing and interpreting graphs and charts.
As with all our English classes, your teacher will present the course in an imaginative and inspiring way, using modern and practical themes and a variety of teaching methods.
Note
- To take this course the level of your English needs to be at least upper intermediate.
- You can take the IELTS the month following the end of your course.
- You MUST buy the correct book for your chosen English course. You can buy the book for your course when you arrive in London, either from the library in our Holborn Centre or from our Shepherd's Bush reception.
Class times
Monday to Friday: 08.15 to 11.30am - each class includes a 15 minute break
Class size
We will never have more than 22 students in a class. However, most of our English classes have an average that is well below this number.
