Opening a Bank Account
If you’re going to be in the UK or Ireland for a while then this is a sensible thing to do. For anyone who’s studying on a course with us for 6 months or more we’ll gladly help you open a bank account.

Welfare Service
Our schools have nominated welfare and safeguarding team members on hand to support every student. We want to ensure our students feel at home and comfortable while in London as quickly as possible; that way they can make the most of their experience with us right from day one. The English Studio team can help with practical information such as finding a doctor, or dentist in the event of illness or giving advice on local banking or travel.
Learning and disability support
Support is on hand as well as multilingual pastoral care via our unique English Studio Connect programme. Student wellbeing is vital to each and every member of our team because when you choose English Studio you become part of our community.
Language School Student Insurance
There is one thing you must do before you come to London to learn English – get some insurance. For your own financial and personal security, it’s essential that you do this before you come here. We strongly advise that you take out your student insurance at the same time as you book your English course at The English Studio. Why? Because your cover will start on the policy issue date – before you travel here to learn English. Which means that in the unfortunate event of illness or an accident preventing you from travelling, you’ll be covered.
The English Studio has partnered with Endsleigh insurance to offer insurance that is specifically designed with our students in mind. We can arrange your insurance for you at an additional cost of £5.50 per week – just ask one of our team for more information or check the insurance box when you book online.
